DESCRIPTION (APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO):

o Commercially manage the company’s in-house tonnage.
o Negotiate freight, hire and charter party clauses.
o Fix vessels on time charters and voyage charters.
o Analyse the freight market and review short and medium-term trends.
o Foster and deepen relationships with charterers.
o Monitor voyage performance of commercially managed vessels to optimise revenue.

CANDIDATE PROFILE (APPLICANTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE):

o Familiar with all relevant charter parties and forms.
o University graduate.
o Good with time management and organisational skills.
o Excellent in the English language (Certification will be required.)
o A motivated team player with a strong sense of dedication.
o Excellent in social and networking skills.
o Accustomed to the usual working hours in the shipping industry across different time zones.
o Note: Any additional language proficiency will be an advantage while applying.
